Hilot on the Water
Traditional Filipino bodywork with warmed banana leaf and coconut oil, in a pavilion over the lagoon.
Wellbeing
We do not offer a programme. We offer a week in which nothing is asked of you, and a therapist who trained where you are standing.
01
Every therapist trained in the tradition of the country they work in — hilot in Palawan, boreh in Bali, and a Highland sauna practice that owes more to Scandinavia than to any spa menu.
02
We will not hand you a schedule at check-in. If you want structure, ask for it and you will get a good one. If you want to sleep for three days, that is also the correct answer.
03
Cold water, long walks, dark skies, and silence do more than any treatment room. Our job is mostly to stay out of the way and keep the kettle on.
The treatment that works best is usually the one after which you fall asleep in the wrong chair.
Across the group
Traditional Filipino bodywork with warmed banana leaf and coconut oil, in a pavilion over the lagoon.
Guided sitting on the upper terrace, then breakfast taken without speaking. Harder than it sounds.
Halotherapy, thalasso pool, and a long time lying still in the shade.
Cedar tub at forty degrees, glacial lake at six. Alternate until you stop thinking.
A wood-fired sauna on the shingle, and the Atlantic four steps away.
Stewardship
This is the part of the business we are most often asked to soften, and the part we will not. The numbers below are audited annually and published in full.
